A few weeks back I was invited to a beauty day at Dillard's in the Wolfechase mall. My home girl was like, "come on it will be fun", as if she even had to convenience me. She had me at BEAUTY SPA DAY. I love me some great skin care and bomb beauty products.
There are few new brands that have recently launched at Target. Now available on Target.com and in select stores as of May 20th are the LipBar, Coloured Raine, hue noir, EveryHue Beauty, MakeupGeek, Haleys Beauty, Violet Voss, and Reina Rebelde

It has been a while since we have discussed beauty on here, so it is time for a major update. If you don't mind, today I want to dish out my favorite holy grail products for makeup, beauty, and skincare. These are items that if I was to be stranded on a desert island I would NEED. If a fire, tornado, or earthquake occurred, I would make a mad dash to save them. As one of my favorite YouTubers, Jackie Aina would say, they will fix your credit and pay your student loans off. This is going to be good one, so grab you a glass of tea or wine, get settled, and dive on in.
Brow obsessed ladies like myself love a good drug store find. Save yourself some coins with the NYX Micro Brow Pencil which is a pretty solid dupe of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz.
Though matte lippies will forever be bae, I still adore a good moisturizing lipstick. You know cause some days the lips are just not having it and are in utter protest of having anything matte on them. To switch things up I have been using two YSL lipsticks that were sent to me c/o Infuenster. Both are from the Rouge Pur Couture collection are in the colors 9 Rose Stiletto and 19 Fuchsia retailing about $36.
Today's beauty bag series feature is all about skin care. When I last focused on skin care, it was all bout my top must have products. Fast forward and not only do I swear by certain products, but I also better understand the benefits of a good skin care regimen. No matter the amount of money spent on beauty products, regardless if they are highend or drug store, will be a complete waste, if your skin is not properly taken care of. I also have gotten really acquainted with my skin type as it has morphed into a thing of its own. My skin is either extremely oily or in some awkward kind of oily/dry hybrid situation (I embrace combination skin type, it's just easier). Having oily and combination skin has made me focus religiously on keeping up with my skin care or else my face will look like it is the second coming of puberty (which was not a fond experience. NOPE). I have waded through a lot of brands in search of my top skin care products, that not only control oiliness, but also keep acne at bay. Click continue to learn more about my skin care tips and top products that keeps my skin supple, moisturized, and blemish free.

I am determined to let my hair grow to bra-strap length. While I was pretty close to achieving this a few months back, I had been treating my hair horridly. My ends where in such a sad state and I had heat damage all in the front. I sucked it up and cut about 2 1/2 inches (insert crying emoji face). Though I adore wearing a sleek blowout, I knew that the less heat my hair experienced the better. I committed to about 4 months of wearing no heat hairstyles. My curl pattern thanked me.
Spring and summer always make me yearn for long flowy hair. Over the last month I have re-embraced the blowout. However, remembering my hair issues and commitment to healthier and longer hair, there is still the need to continue wearing heat free styles. Additionally, I aim to use heat no more than 4 times a month. Lately I have been obsessed with braided and twisted protective styles. They are soo pretty and really help to bring longevity to a blow with little to no heat.

It's been a while a year since I last talked about beauty on here. To embrace the spirit of spring renewal I will be updating my beauty bag series. Since last spring I have really worked on creating a beauty regimen so that I can achieve an effortlessly polished look. I am excited to share products I love and super easy beauty tips. Check back for the next topic in my updated beauty beauty bag series: my skin care regimen.
To it kick off the series, today I'm focusing on "what's in my beauty bag. My daily beauty routine has changed and the products I keep in my make-up bag have been well edited. Of course some things have stayed, hey if it's not broke, but there are a lot of new products I now swear by. Regardless if old or new, each and every one is an essential beauty product that I absolutely cannot live without (yes I am dramatic, but hey I am SERIOUS about beauty).
Super long lashes and the perfect nude lip is all I really want in this life of sin. Sidenote, I think that is what Beyonce was thinking in her and Jay's Bonnie and Clyde. Anyways, you know one of my inner most secrets. We now go together. =D Really, the pursuit of
With the new Scandal Eyes Rockin' Curves Rimmel makes a strong case for volumious, smoking eyelashes. *ear perk* Oh really? Also with their Moisture renew line, Rimmel claims to reduce dryness without compromising color and can be worn all day. CHECK, CHECK, AND CHECK!!! My excitedness of this product is pretty obvious huh. I wore both for about a week to just see how much I would or would not love these products. Click continue to see how these two products fared.
step 2// cut foil. Pre-cut your ten pieces for easy use.
step 3// cut cotton pads.
step 4// soak cotton & wrap nail in the foil. I do this 1 nail at a time, so that the pad is good and moist. Make sure to securely wrap each nail. Tip, do this on a clean surface, free from any material that you do not want to get acetone on. There will be some drip when you first tightly wrap the nail.
step 5// repeat. I suggest do 1 nail at a time. Its sort of hard to secure the foil on your other hand once you have covered your fingers. Now wait at least 20 minutes. Turn on Netflix, pop in your favorite movie, or watch your favorite show.
step 6// viola, clean fingers. Use a metal nail file to push away any residue.
I am a undercover all-things beauty fanatic. Besides being brow obsessed (tutorial coming soon!) and I nude lip obsessed, mani obsessed and all eye lash obsessed. When it comes to my lashes I like them long and thick and want my mascara to give me the va-va-voom, hey honey you doing look.
I do have some holy grail ones, Dior Diorshow, Maybeline Falsies, and Maybeline Illegal lengths, but I am always looking to add a new product to the list. My most recent acquisition is Covergirl's Bombshell curvaceous Mascara. It claims to be water-proof so what better time to try it out then the nuptials of two dear friends I was to attend. Additionally it states that "it gives Mega volume and dark intensity for an over the top bombshell look." Let's see if proof is in the wand (see what I did there).

*SPAZZES OUT!!!!!*
Two of my favorite brands, in a beauty collaboration... YES PLEASE AND THANK YOU! All in all, this is really not a huge surprise, as NARS has worked with 3.1Phillip Lim to provide beauty looks for the runway shows. I mean, now allowing the masses in on the fun, is what's so freaking awesome about this project.
They will be offering a 9 piece nail polish collection coming in August to all Sephoras. If you are lucky enough to have a NARS boutique you can get your hands on them as early as July 15th. The colors are rich jewel tones that will be perfect for the fall. If you haven't realized by now, I cannot wait to shellac my pretty little fingers with all of these gorgeous colors.
