The love of pretty things and the love of maintaining financial responsibility is a tight rope that I prefer to walk in stiletto heels. I kid I kid. I consider myself a well cultured woman who can hold her own walking proudly in 5 inch heels as well in a structured flat. I sure though, the mister to my chicness would probably say I have more flat walking stealthiness than heels, sans his assistance. To that I say cobblestones and sleek pumps are not such a great duo.

Regardless of my (mis)adventures in heels or flats, I wholeheartedly understand the quality of a well designed shoe. Likewise, I equally desire to keep a good amount of my coins within my possession. Hey thrifting this is why I heart you soo much. Additionally investing in high-end pieces are worth it for items I know I will keep forever.  More importantly I'm kind of rough on shoes. Thrifting or shopping consignments and resale boutiques gives me much less guilt and heartache. To make sure I'm getting the bang for my buck I follow 5 simple tips when purchasing designer footwear.

My first introduction to Kate Spade were those multicolored striped totes that seemed to be apart of every sorority girl's uniform when I was in undergrad. I just could not get why they were so gaga for those rather interesting little bags. Well fast forward some years later (modesty with those years) and I am heads-over heels for all things Kate Spade. These following beauties are on the top of my current wish list.

Wish List: Kate Spade

1.Kate Spade Metro Watch- Gold 2. Kate Spade Metro Watch- Pink 3.Kate Spade Gumdrop Studs- Green 4. Kate Spade Treasure Chest Ring-Yellow 5. Kate SpadeDotz Bib- Orange 6.Kate Spade Gramercy Grand Watch

Adore Kate Spade too?

I adore luxury brands. I also adore having money in the bank. Investing in high-end items can indeed enrich and add a little polish to your wardrobe. Having great style and being financially savvy are things that every fashionable individual should be good at. I work hard at being both, so I look for pieces that are inspired by the high-end looks I adore. I come across a lot of beautiful finds and thought that sharing these maybe helpful for others. So I offer you "Luxe for Less".

The older I get the more I find out that I am a sucker for all things bows, sparkles, and glitter. I fell in love with the Valentino Patent Flats. Multiple bows and shinny, I was soo in. However the $500+ price and my non-profit worker's salary did not compute. Well the shoe gods smiled and offered these lovely options, one via Kate Spade New York, and the most recent find, by Me TOO. Which do you like more?
