Last minute Christmas gift guide for him and her
Every year I aim to have my Christmas shopping done way before December hits. Every year I find myself still getting someone's gift at the last minute. This year I did better, but I still have a few bits to tie up and Christmas is just a week away. I made a promise to shop more intentionally and with local business. Here are a few of my favorite local Memphis spots where you can get something special for those still on your list.

Who can say no to macarons?! 17 Berkshire has an assortment of flavors from candy cane to red velvet. If macarons aren't your vibe they also offer a variety of delicious pastries, chocolates, and cakes. Nuha launched her brick and mortar shop this year. You can pop into her shop in Overton Square or order online.

Falling into Place
I was recently introduced to Falling into Place. As soon as I stepped into the boutique I was in love. It SMELLED DIVINE. Mary Claire White, owner and founder of Falling into Places makes some of the most decadent smelling candles. You can pick up seasonal candles, those based on your birth sign, and even attend candle making workshops. In addition to candles the boutique offers handmade leather goods, jewelry, and more. Bubble Bistro
Pamper someone with locally made bath bombs, skin care for him and her. Bubble Bistro has something for everyone. Bath bombs, body oils, and salt therapy are just a sample of the products Bubble Bistro offers. I live by their natural soap bars. They make your entire bathroom smell like an oasis by just sitting on the counter. You can stop by the shop located in the Crosstown area of pursue their online shop.

Not and actual brick and motor, IV by David is a beautiful accessories lines created by David Quarles IV. Each piece is handmade and has options for men, women, and unisex. IV by David is currently sold at Stock and Belle and Dixon Memphis. You can also check out his website.

This wouldn't be a proper That's So Chic post without including some thrift store love. Hitting up your local thrift store is a great, and super wallet friendly way to find truly special one of a kind gifts. From clothing to home wares, there are a plethora of choices. Not mention, if you have the time you can really score some great vintage and designer goods for a fraction of the cost.
