Confession...I like nice things. I also like to save my coins. As little girl I did not realize why my mother LOVED thrift stores and antique markets so much. However, as a fully grown woman, with fully grown woman responsibilities, I TOTALLY GET IT. Thrifting smartly has allowed me to discover and own some really beautiful things.
Last Spring/Summer Cult Gaia brought out the Ark bag and everyone lost their dang on minds. This bag led to a whole heap of rattan, straw, and woven bags from fast fashion to high end brands alike. Some of these bags are pretty reasonably priced and others, like the Ark are $$$$. Depending on your style, or preference in quality and durability, buying one of these type of bags might not be worth the investment for you. Learning your way around the thrift store cannot only be kind on your bank account, but also keep you on trend.

Nothing makes me happier than a great thrift find. Going through racks, digging in bins, and picking through shoes to find a piece of gorgeousness just lying in wait for your little fingers to discover. I am an artist and I am serious about my ish. I really want to revisit this idea if solely only purchasing thrifted items for an entire month. Alas, this hual is a collection of the items I have found via my thrifting exploits over the last month. Some I scored locally and some over the net. I will be including several pieces in my boutique in the near future.

Regardless of my (mis)adventures in heels or flats, I wholeheartedly understand the quality of a well designed shoe. Likewise, I equally desire to keep a good amount of my coins within my possession. Hey thrifting this is why I heart you soo much. Additionally investing in high-end pieces are worth it for items I know I will keep forever. More importantly I'm kind of rough on shoes. Thrifting or shopping consignments and resale boutiques gives me much less guilt and heartache. To make sure I'm getting the bang for my buck I follow 5 simple tips when purchasing designer footwear.
