Brunch at The Bluff
I am always in search of new places for brunch, because brunch'n is what the weekends are for. My bestie and I decided to check out a recently opened New Orleans themed restaurant located near the University of Memphis, The Bluff.

The place was pretty spacious and a really rustic vibe. We decided to sit upstairs, overlooking what at night turns into a dance floor. On the stage was the cutest bluegrass band made up of 4 guys that were all over 60. They were getting it. *side note* I am a child of 90s hiphop, so for these guys to get me into their musical selection says a lot.
Our sever showed up with beignets. Hello beigFREAKINGnets yes please and thank you. They were soo good and I was totally tempted to get another round. We ordered our food and decided on mimosas. Half way through our 2nd they morphed into an entire pitcher.
We both decided on the chicken and waffles. The only gripe I had was the size of my portion of chicken. My friend's was ginormous. Other than that, everything was great. I highly recommend this spot. Check out the menu below to get an idea of what they offer. They are located at 535 South Highland Street in Memphis.
