This woman is so vibrant and full of life, and lives her life purposefully and self assuredly as if she was 60 years younger than her 90+ age. I am in complete awe of her. She is truly an individual and reveals 100% in her individualism. 

From interior design, to textiles, to stylist, she has done it all while being as funky, gaudy, accessorized, and layered  up as she freaking likes. Her style and personality and is a real inspiration and she is indeed an style icon. Iris's unique look inspired an entire MET exhibition that she herself curated and then it went touring around the country. If this film is showing in your city check it out. It is a must see!
