This year my beloved city finally got on board with the FNO festivities. It was rather fun to get out and mingle with fashion lovers, the stylish set, and industry insiders. I had grand ambitions to make it to several stops however, mother-nature had other plans, and released a torrential rain storm halfway through the night.

My first stop was to the launch party of Pouts and Winks at the Vault in Metro67. Pouts and Winks founded by Ronda Boutte offers a line of affordable cosmetics.






At the launch Rhonda provided an boutique and Girls Night Out pamper feel. Free make-overs, mini-manis,  a pasta station, and an open bar with super cute specialty cocktails aptly named Pouty Mouth and A Wink in My Cup were available for attendees.

While my make-up was perfect for the night, I quickly jumped at getting a free mini-manicure.


I also had to leave with something from the line and purchased a primer that doubles as both an eye and lip primer. I'm excited to use it and will most definitely post an update about it. So far I'm liking it.




Once the weather cleared I made my way to South Main for more FNO events. Though I missed the main shows I was able to catch the tail end of the nights activities at K'Presha Boutique where DJ CP the Great was spinning and an impromptu music performance occurred. I enjoyed to music and got my mini boogie on while chatting up with friends about vintage clothes and great thrift finds.

All in all I had a great night and look forward to even bigger and more fabulous adventures next year.
